Creamy custard
Low amine / salicylate / Low GI
- Mix 80g of Biomed Cafe's Protein Rich Chickpea Flour (previously known as Magic Bean Flour), 60g oil, 80g caster sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of concentrated vanilla extract or 1/4 teaspoon of pure vanilla powder and 2 cups (500mL) of warm water in a bowl
- Mix well to remove lumps
- Microwave in minute bursts until thickened to the desired consistency
- Sprinkle with nutmeg if desired
Variation - try making chocolate custard by substituting 10g of Magic Bean Flour with cocoa or carob.
