Organic Ground Vanilla -100g
Australian Vanilla Plantations' organic ground vanilla bean is a great way to get a rich vanilla flavour without nasty additives, pesticides or alcohols. This product is made by drying organic vanilla beans in the sun and grinding them to a fine powder. Ground vanilla is stronger than vanilla extracts - 1/2 teaspoon will replace 1 teaspoon of extract in recipes.
Because ground vanilla powder does not contain liquid it is a great addition to home made white chocolate (see recipes) where liquid extract would mess up the final product.
Ground vanilla makes a fabulous vanilla syrup for pancakes, coffee or fruit salad - just microwave 1 teaspoon with 1/2 cup of water and 1/2 cup of sugar for 3 minutes.
Vanilla is considered to be low allergy, low salicylate and low amine. This product is made in a dedicated facility
