Melrose Pure Vitamin C - Ascorbic Acid...
Melrose Vitamin C ascorbic acid powder (125g) is a pure acidic form of vitamin C which has excellent absorption and a nice tart citrus like flavour. This product contains no additives and is low in amines, salicylates and free from nasties. Many low salicylate diets are low in vitamin C - this is an excellent form for the chemically sensitive and is safe for all ages.
DOSAGE: For relief of constipation or common cold take 1/4 teaspoon every 2-3 hours. Large doses of ascorbic acid (eg 2 teaspoons per day) may cause diarrhoea. Just 1/3 of a teaspoon supplies 1000mg of vitamin C.
