Adequate bile excretion is important for excreting fat soluble toxins and poor bile flow will increase chemical sensitivity and toxic load. Taurine is found in high concentrations in the tissues of the heart, skeletal muscle, and central nervous system. It is used to treat some forms of epilepsy by controlling seizures. Taurine can also assist treatment of Macular Degeneration due to its antioxidant effect on the retina. Taurine acts as a neurotransmitter and has been shown to help with memory and anxiety.
